Nidera Handelscompagnie B.V. is pleased to announce the formation of a Green Power department. Since January 2007 three senior traders and two back office employees have been appointed to form the Green Power Team in Nidera’s head office in Rotterdam. The team has a combined experience of 40 years in the field of (green) electricity, gas and related fuel trading, origination and operations in Western Europe.
It will be the first step of the company into this field. Nidera wants to build a bridge between the agricultural and energy markets by setting up a Green Power department. Nidera will be a partner for power producers by offering possibilities for hedging in- and output of the plants, and assisting with operational activities.
