BIOFUELS

Biofuels include all transport fuels produced from agricultural feedstock. Nidera trades various sorts of biodiesel, including rape methyl ester (RME), soy methyl ester (SME), palm methyl ester (PME) as well as the generic types of FAME with different CFPP levels. We are also building a presence in ethanol trading. Nidera is interested in establishing long-term strategic partnerships with biodiesel and bio-ethanol producers.

Because of our agricultural background we are very experienced in the supply and logistics of bio-energy feedstock materials such as crude and refined vegetable oils (rape oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil, palm oil), oil seeds (rapeseed, soybeans, sunflowerseed), grains (wheat, corn, barley, rye, sorghum). We supply both our traditional customers in the food and feed industry as well as  biodiesel and ethanol producers.

Our unique strength is that we are able to supply feedstock and secure off-take of the end-product, thereby building a bridge from the agricultural world to the energy world. Our customers therefore can concentrate on production whilst laying off supply and off-take concerns to one single company.

In addition to physical supply/off-take of the feedstock and bio energy end-product, Nidera also offers financial risk management structures to producers and expertise in biodiesel and bio-ethanol project development, that need fixed feedstock supply prices and/or esterification or fermentation margins.
